238 Cherokee Grill - Kings Mountain

What a miserable disappointing experience. We had gone to this restaurant once before about 2 years ago and it was aweful. We were told they revamped and redid the menue so decided to try again. First off we had a party of 6 with large men and they sat us at a 4 top with chairs on each end . It was ridiculous and everything was knocked over due to lack of space .we asked for a larger table as many were empty and we had ordered over 300$ in tapas ,drinks and food and we were told the larger table had to be held even tho the restaurant was quiet empty. A solution would have been to add on a small table. Things got worse as 13$ craft cocktails came without anything specified in the menue. They were out of half of what we ordered. They served appetizers with no sharing plates. We had to ask for silver and sides multiple times. All the food was ice cold. It took 35 mins to get one drink. Our waitress was very rude . She told my husband if he wanted to know what was on tap he would have to scan the qr code and walked away. She also grabbed the ketchup bottle out of my 4 year Olds hand. It was the oddest most despicable experience I have ever had at a restaurant. To top it off a 20% gratuity was added . I called as soon as we left and spoke to a manager named Alley who sounded very inexperienced. She basically said there was nothing to be done. There are very few people who come in and order half of the menue so to the owner, I suggest you vet your servers and managers better as we would have been very profitable customers. Thanks for ruining our Sunday ! Update the crazy waitress we had found me on Facebook and messaged this..I will be contacting authorities great job at vetting your employees ?

Nasty burnt chicken covered in sauce and the nachos had grilled chicken that was burnt and the chips were greasy the waitress was also very impatient and didn't ask me if I wanted anything else i also can't believe they still charged me for everything when me and my family didn't even eat everything it was the first and last place their

The quality of the food and service is diminishing.

EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! From the waitress (Chesnee W) she was super super sweet and helpful! And the FOOD AMAZING! Will definitely come back!

Waitress/Bar tender was great. Spinach dip and sweet potato casserole was amazing, how ever mine and my wife 12oz ribeye's ordered medium, look like they were ran over by a Mack truck 10 times (flat) and were brought out well done. And the salads are served on a tiny square plate, made it difficult to not have salad on the table. For the price of the food would have expected better. Would try again but def. not with the steaks!!
