Swooger's - Kings Mountain

Great environment...big selection of foods and can't go wrong with Tony's ice cream. Yum!

The onion rings are the best especially when they come to the table hot. First time I have had the BLT sandwich. It was so good. We don't get to go out to eat often, but when do we love to go to Swoogers. Love the oldies music, vinyl records and covers for 45s and 33s. Makes you feel good atmosphere.

VW show was there Saturday afternoon. Made for a nice cold cone of icecream!

The food is really good. Expect a short wait for your food, only because it is cooked to order fresh and not kept warmed in a pan. They have a lot to choose from so you are sure to find what you want. Also if you want some fresh scooped ice cream, yep, they have that too.

This is a great spot for homemade burgers. I ordered a double cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly—juicy and not overdone. It was excellent! My partner had a regular burger with chili and slaw, which was also really good. The atmosphere was pleasant; it wasn't too crowded when we arrived, but it started to fill up later. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Next time, I plan to try the ice cream, but I was too full to have any this time. I would definitely recommend this place!
