Waffle House - Kings Mountain

I was usually on Saturday at noon. This crew is on things... But we went Saturday night at midnight, it was definitely not the same level of service. The servers weren't in a hurry. Tables were sitting dirty long ago. Servers were not friendly and pretended to be no less important to them. Half of our food was already cold when it was brought to our table. And the A/C was crowned, so we're freezing all the time.

I usually visit this restaurant on Saturday at noon, and the service is always excellent. However, when I went on Saturday night at midnight, the experience was completely different. The staff seemed slow and unconcerned. Dirty tables were left unattended for a long time, and the servers were unfriendly and gave the impression that we didn’t matter. By the time our food arrived, half of it was already cold. To make matters worse, the A/C was on full blast, leaving us feeling uncomfortably cold throughout our meal.

It took quite a while for my food to arrive, and I'm not sure if it was due to the spoon or the sprout, but it ended up being an interesting experience. I still had my meal the next day. The manager was fantastic, and the service was excellent. There was a woman who worked the night before who was very helpful; she did her best to explain things. Overall, it was a memorable visit!

As always, I noticed that the menu features some delicious options. I would really love to have those pork chops or steak for breakfast!

Now listen, we are hard to please when it comes to 'fast food '. I know, I know...it 's FAST FOOD!! We should not have too many expectations and standards these days with fast food. But let me just tell you, we had an amazing experience at this location late last night. I 'm gobsmacked!! I 've worked in hospitality and costumer service my entire career and I 've NEVER, HANDS DOWN, seen anything like this lovely girl last night! We arrived and only one person was working, it seemed. Then an angel walked through the kitchen door... She talked to the original server for a minute or so and when I tell you this cook/goddess, with a restaurant FULL of customers, proceeded to, single-handedly and very methodically, sort the orders and begin preparing them with determination, focus, precision and speed unlike I have ever seen before. With a SMILE THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! We didn 't get her name, but if she 's not a manager, she NEEDS TO BE ASAP!!!! She is what hospitality is all about!!!! We were traveling, and if I get the chasms to go back there, I will and I 'll hope she will be managing this store!!!!
