Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Kingsland

My parents came from Orlando to visit me and my newborn on Saturday the 14th and wanted to get something to eat. We didn't realize Dickey's was closing early at 4 everyday and closed all day Sunday due to being short staffed. My parents showed up after 4 but the staff working ended up taking our order anyways, we really appreciated that. The food is good too, the Carolina bbq sauce is my favorite.

I stopped by for lunch today. The pulled pork was delicious! I will definitely come back when I am in town.

Eating was not good. very little meat in serving and very fat. only had 1 worker tried to do all day

Sunday afternoon 1pm all resteraunts closed. I came expecting to eat great bbq. Instead i left angry wasting 20 minutes of my time to find it closed. Im sorry but this truck stop is very poorly managed. They lost $700 in my diesel purchase on top of what id pay for lunch. I wont stop here ever again. ??

Food is ok but it’s not “THAT BBQ” most of the sides tastes like it comes from a can with minimal seasoning. Overall it’s ok for a quick bite to eat. Clean facility
