A B & D Dairy Treat - Kingston

I visited this restaurant once in June and ordered a large serving of fries to fulfill a craving. Despite the place not being busy, I had to wait a long time for my order. When I finally received it, I was disappointed to find a small tray of reheated fries labeled as "large fries." There was no apology for the long wait. It ended up being a complete rip-off, costing (after tax). Additionally, there were many mosquitoes outside that forced me to stay in my car. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a typical fast-food establishment. The service is mediocre and the food is just okay. It is not a healthy dining option in my opinion. However, it is a great choice for getting a quick ice cream fix.

My friends and I came to this Dairy Queen for some ice cream after playing a round of golf at a nearby course. We also decided to grab a meal before heading back to town. The staff, especially a cheerful and upbeat young lady, greeted us and took our orders quickly. Despite being busy, our orders got mixed up with others, causing our visit to take longer than expected. The food was pretty basic - the burger was dry and lacked flavor, but the fries were decent. The soft drink was warm and had little ice to cool it down, which was disappointing on a hot day. The prices were slightly higher than expected, but not outrageous. The highlight of the visit was definitely the ice cream. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

Location is great, lots of seating options and the decor is definitely not your typical Second Cup.
