Memories Ice Cream - Kingston

This is the perfect New England ice cream shop, offering fantastic prices, generous portions, and a delightful variety of flavors, all set on a historic dairy farm. While it's a bit of a drive from the coast, it's definitely worth every mile! The only downside is that during summer evenings, a swarm of beetles tends to hang around the shop. They don't bite or pose any real threat, but they can be quite annoying.

The staff is incredibly friendly. I make it a point to visit Exeter once a year, and this restaurant is always a must-visit!

My daughter's allergies to dairy and tree nuts make it challenging for us to find suitable treats when we go out. We were really looking forward to trying Memories because of their extensive selection of dairy-free ice cream and positive reviews. However, we were disappointed to discover that all of their dairy-free flavors were made with almond milk. While my daughter was able to enjoy some sorbet, which was delicious, and I liked my ice cream, I wish they offered a few options made with oat or coconut milk to accommodate those with allergies.

I recently tried their vegan pumpkin soft serve, and it was honestly the best ice cream I've ever had. The vegan flavors are crafted by the owner for his wife, and when she has a favorite, they make a big batch to sell. They typically offer classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, but they always have a few other flavors that change every month or so!
