Absolutely beautiful! small fish and chips perfect size for me! has made fresh so that you wait, but wait! best iw had anyway will be a regular customer now.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are of high quality and cooked to each customer's personal preference. While the service may not be the fastest as they only cook the fish to order, the benefit is always receiving fresh food every time.

The squid and chips at this restaurant are excellent. It has become my new favorite place to get fish and chips in Hull. Others need to try it for themselves – it's delicious!

Used to be one of the best chippies in Hull and we would use it once or twice a week. We bought some fish n chips prior to going on holiday in the summer n had to throw it away it was so bad. Wanting...to give the benefit of doubt thinking everyone has a bad day we tried it again some weeks later, the food was slightly better but not much. We gave in this week and gave them one last try and it turned out to a a total waste of money. The fish was over cooked to the point where even the batter failed to protect the fish itself from turning brown. Such a shame its gone from the best to probably one of the worst. I'll keep an eye on the ratings and if It shows signs of improvement i'll be happy to give it another try but until then i'll continue to use Frydays in cottingham

I visit this place on the regular so it's about time I left a review. This is the best fish and chip shop in Hull without a doubt. They use sustainable line-caught Haddock from the Barents sea, which is known for its superior quality. Good...to see a fish and chip shop taking sustainability and quality seriously. Fish is freshly fried when you walk in, and portion sizes are good but not excessive. The fish has always been of excellent quality when I've been in and the chips are fantastic too. Batter is golden, crispy and light – just the way it always should be. The patties are also some of the best I've tried and every fish and chops you order comes with a fresh portion of homemade tartare sauce (delicious Keep doing what you're doing. I spent a lot of time working with fish and chip shops for the national fish and chip awards so know good quality when I spot it.
