El Ranchero - KINGWOOD

It is nice to see that after all these years another local favorite has not changed too much. It has been over 5 years since we visited El Rancho, but everything still tastes the same; That's good! We have family members who go here because they swear that El Ranchero has the best Fajitas Poblano everywhere. We like cheese enchiladas, chicken dishes, and their Fjita meat is in our top 10 for local Mexican restaurants. Friday evenings here were muded earlier, and there was a waiting for place, but on our last Friday evening visit (June 2022) their many seats were available to sit. The restaurant was definitely not dead, but it was nowhere near max capacity as back a day. The food tasted great and the portion size is still right. Most employees were helpful and friendly, but tend to disappear in the moments you need most; for refills to go boxes, review, etc. We will try not to wait so long before we come back here.

So after I made my groceries, I'll look at the back of the receipt. I noticed a voucher for El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant for Fajitas for one for $11,95. I never use coupons when I chose my food preference, but I decided to try it. I had the beef phajitas for one who came with fried beans, rice, 4-tortillas and guarcamole. I also have tortilla chips with salsa. The chips were warm n crispy and the salsa was warm n delish! I like the salsa so much that I put the Fajitas. The food n service was excellent. I highly recommend it. Maybe I need to check the back of my receipts more often for more restaurant options!

The service was quite fast and the food was delightful. Everyone in my group loved their meals. My sister and I shared the Parrillada for two, and we even had some leftovers. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has been a reliable and wonderful spot for Tex-Mex cuisine for many years. I enjoy stopping by for the friendly atmosphere and delicious food. The service is always attentive, and everything tastes fresh. You really can't go wrong with any order here, but I highly recommend the Cancun Special if you want to sample a bit of everything!

This was the most perfect plate of food I've ever had! I typically judge Mexican cuisine based on the rice, and this rice was absolutely delicious—hands down the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant. Even though the waiter accidentally spilled salsa all over my friend's phone, the service was still outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its incredible, authentic Mexican food!
