My husband ordered a gluten-free and dairy-free cake with low-sugar buttercream frosting for my birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! He mentioned that the woman who assisted him offered to do a trial run before baking my cake, which really impressed both of us. We highly recommend Barking Bird Bakery!

This place is truly delightful! Their “Sweetie” cookies are simply AMAZING—soft with almond flavor and delicious icing. The “Barking Brookie” is also incredible! My kids and I visit almost every Thursday. Their ice cream and cookie cakes are fantastic as well! There's a lovely young man named Gabriel who works there; if you’re lucky, you might get to see him when you visit! He’s so kind and has a great attitude—always calm and friendly. After you're finished, don’t forget to stop by our favorite little shop, My Happy Place, next door! The owner is one of the most wonderful people I know. It really is my happy place!

The gluten-free chocolate cookies are amazing! The staff is consistently friendly, and the coffee is great too.

The food here is absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was incredibly flavorful, so you really can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. Most dishes also allow you to select your preferred spice level, which is a nice touch. The service was top-notch as well. I highly recommend giving this place a try. We sampled the Galveston Sushi Roll, Combination Plate Appetizer, Yellow Curry, and Pad Thai, and the menu features stunning pictures of every dish, which is fantastic!
