Netherton Chippy - Kirklees

I went to the restaurant today at 1pm to buy food for myself and my child. We ordered a small fish sandwich with curry sauce, a fish and chip sandwich with curry sauce, and a can of Pepsi, which came to a total of £14.48. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, but for essentially two very small lunch sandwiches, the price seemed too high. I would expect to pay between £5 and £7 for a larger portion of fish and chips with sauce, not a small sandwich. These prices make the village chippy more of a special treat rather than a regular meal option.

Please disregard any reviews from 2019. This restaurant is now under new management and there has been a significant improvement in the quality of the food. The dishes are made to order, so there may be a wait, but it is worth it.

Just to say there is a hair strand on your image. Be professional when taking pictures, it will make you look bad .

Really good quality chips and a lovely couple. A great atmosphere. Me and the family love them on a friday
