Írjon visszajelzéstI decided to visit this restaurant after reading a review that mentioned they had a vegetarian menu that could be made vegan. However, upon arrival, I discovered that they had recently changed their menu and there were very limited vegan options available. Despite this, my waiter was friendly and helpful, and he spoke to the chef about preparing something special for me. Unfortunately, while the food was decent, it was also quite simple and expensive. I would have possibly returned in the future if it wasn't for overhearing the kitchen staff making unkind remarks about catering to a vegan customer like myself.
For our meal, we enjoyed the Creamy Vegetable Succotash as an appetizer, followed by splitting the Seven Lettuce Salad and Sautéed Corn and Ivory Lentils as our main courses. My husband and I typically follow a plant-based, whole foods, no oil diet, so we are often disappointed by restaurant meals that are too oily or rich, even when they are vegan. However, these dishes were exceptional with light and well-seasoned fried elements. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated flavors of the food. For a lighter dessert option, we recommend trying the delicious blueberry sorbet. Or if you're feeling indulgent, you can treat yourself to the vegan ice cream sandwiches from Zen Pops, which are absolutely amazing and just a short 5-minute drive away.
I had decided to come here when I read the review of this place that you had vegetarian menu dinge that could be made vegan. when I arrived, they had just changed their menu and there was literally nothing that was actually vegan and besides the salads only one appetizer that could be made vegan. my waiter was very friendly and talked to the cook about doing something special I appreciated. everything was good until I overheard the kitchen staff who complained about catering to a vegan. I would have thought to come back if the kitchen staff hadn't spoken cruelly about me, a customer.
We were very impressed! the food was delicious and the staff went out of the way to take us and impress us. Since there were no obvious vegan options on the vegetarian menu, our waitress lori helped us to choose the veganisable options about half the vegetarian menu. she also offered to ask the kitchen to bake a brot for us without the regular egg wash. we had the creamy vegetable succotash for a starter, and share the seven salat salat and sautéed corn and ivory lenses as our escape. my man and I follow in the regular basis of a plant, whole food, no oil diet, so most restaurant food (also vegan) is too oily / rich for us and often disappointing. these dishes were amazing! even the fried elements were light and well seasoned. overall we found eating surprisingly demanding. if they want a light dessert, try the delicious blueberry sorbet. or they can spluge on vegan ice sandwiches (for those of zen pops who are less than a 5-minute drive away.
Every bite was perfection. really, you have to try. jeff was our server and helped us navigate the martini menu and then the dinner menu thank you jeff! the owner was the cook when we left. I love myself a couple of lamming aprons, I order them almost every time I take off to eat, but these aprons were unforgettable. not only because they were not playful, but because they were also delicate and perfectly cooked med rare plus. the sides have put together these beautiful cuts so beautifully. winter vegetables are not necessarily special, but some, such as carrots, papageien, kartoffels and wobbles never tasted so well. the sweet potato cake was good for the last bite, but the red wine mint reduction that pulled it together stole the show. super delicate, not playful at all, served on a bed of wild cale with cherry and lightly dressed, which is absolutely exquisite and addictive. yes! cat can be addicted. the duck had only one hauch of truffle and it was just the right amount. we finished dinner with a white chocolate cream brûlée. Do I really have to describe the balanced sweet with the burnt sugar and the caption creamy for which a really good French cream brûlée is known? I didn't think so. By the way, before I close the martinis here, are really good. try the rosy cheeks it is an OBX winner from a background. Even though the Vesper....mmmm is also quite dang good. do not go to obx without meeting this place!
