The restaurant is located directly below the cable car station on the hannekam with fantastic views of the wild imperial and kitzbuhel and surroundings. we have eaten here before the weather was bad and there are some lovely corners and...Crons in the building along with pictures of famous skiers who have visited. the weather was good, but we enjoyed our food on the outside tables that I love grostl! look at the spectacular view. wonderful place.

With a large outdoor terrace, the restaurant offers a fantastic view over kitzbuhel and its surroundings. perfect for lunch or just refreshment. faster and great service!

We ate goulash soup, a pfand with eggs bacon and spaghetti bolognese for kids. Food was great, not too expensive and service was very friendly and quick.

This little hotel restaurant is tucked out of sight around the corner from the top of the Hahnenkamm lift. The restaurant and bar are made up of several cosy interconnected rooms. The house specialty seems to be groestl, a kind of local homemade hash, but...standards such as goulash and kase spaezle are also available, and they make a divine version of chocolate sacher torte with its own mountain of whipped cream. Small bells dangle above the tables so that you can ring when you want to buy the next round of drinks. And in the small front room there are some great photos, both then and now, of the famous 1950 's Kitzbuhel Dream Team that included Toni Sailer and Ernst Hinterseer. A few bedrooms are also available winter and summer for those keen to sleep on the mountain.
