Storas Katinas - Klaipeda

A surprisingly cozy restaurant with very well prepared meals. Not overpriced, considering that it is the location in the old town. Friendly staff and fast service that will leave a good impression. The selection of foods ranges from fish to meat, and all of them are made with a variety of incredible homemade spices. Pay attention to the many cocktails they offer. I come back and look forward to it.

Storas Katinas. The Fat Cat. My husband and I came here for dinner on a rainy Thursday evening in September and were not disappointed. I had the steak and my husband had the beef cheeks, both delicious and garnished with seasonal vegetables and a lovely sauce. We also ordered a portion of very moreish chips. The Malbec was amazing and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his beer. The restaurant is located in a gorgeous old building, beautiful, both inside and out. Staff are friendly. Cards accepted. I recommend!

An excellent small bar/restaurant serving local cuisine. Very popular with locals. Plenty of meat and vegetarian options available, but I'd say the specialty here is seafood, including freshly smoked fish prepared on the premises. Portions are reasonably large, but not too much. (Side note you'll probably have to ask for sauces like ketchup or mustard separately as there's none on the tables). A large selection of local beers and spirits at the bar. Prices are reasonably moderate by local standards, which means for anyone visiting from Western Europe the bill will be on the light size. You're looking at roughly €20 per person for a starter, main, desert and drinks. Overall, I'd say this one of the best eateries in central Klaipėda.

A very nice restaurant in the middle of the old town. Always full of people.
