Rocky Point Resort - Klamath Falls

The current conditions at this resort do not match the information displayed. After booking and seeing the condition of the place, I did not feel safe. Due to Covid, cleaning protocols and self-control have become the norm. However, self-checking should not mean that there is no coworker on location. Cleaning and sanitation between guests should involve thorough cleaning of surfaces in spaces between guests, which was not done. There are no employees visible on site, and the rooms and cabins are not adequately cleaned between guests. The camping site is littered with trash and broken objects. The contact person refuses to refund the money, despite not providing the room we booked.

The images on the website do not accurately represent the actual appearance of this place. We booked a room based on the photos, expecting a relaxing stay for the night. However, upon arrival, we found no staff present and the room was dirty and unsanitary due to COVID-19. The person we spoke to on the phone seemed unconcerned and claimed the room was clean and met COVID-19 standards. It was concerning that they knew the room's condition without anyone on site. Our safety concerns were ignored, and the customer service was rude. This place is a dump, with a lack of cleanliness and care for guests. I recommend booking elsewhere for a better experience. We had to find another accommodation in the city due to safety concerns.

We visited this restaurant and it felt like something out of a horror movie. The staff was friendly, but the beds in the cabin were very uncomfortable, feeling like we were sleeping on rocks. One even sank to the floor when you sat on it. After one night, we decided to switch to another hotel. We do not recommend this place.

This resort is a sweat, I was shocked after I paid for a not one pay, but full price for a room. I was told there are no refunds that I suspected if I had to cancel out what reason, but apparently when they call them to warn them when extreaming with winter weather like say 8 snow and guess they don't drive. they still keep their full payment. I don't know who owns this area, but they should lose their country rental asap.

Winter Review We were traveling, only staying overnight so this location is very remote and apx 40min outside Klamath Falls (had I looked at a map before booking I would have seen that, my bad). We rolled in about 5pm store/office was closed, I went to the restaurant to find someone the gal who checked us in was the highlight of our night and was helpful and accommodating. The staff of two were friendly, and went above and beyond for us. We had dinner there, the checkin gal was our waitress and they are open 4pm-6pm. She called the cook to come down he explained the limited menu which they were out of most things on. We settled for fish and chips and a salad which were ok. We were the only table in what appears to be a lobby, bar, sitting area with one dinner table in the room. To our cabin; single pane 1950’s windows with old baseboard heaters that don’t work well. We were ice sculptures. There is a TV but, no stations (no cable/satellite. There is WiFi but not enough to stream a movie. The waitress/cleaner/ checkin lady brought out a few dvds in the snow (which is where the aforementioned above and beyond statement comes from). The cabin is old, extremely dated and lacking in basic comforts like heat. The bed was very hard. I suspect the experience is different in the summer but for an overnight winter stay this was not a $200/night place. I would align this with a camp fishing cabin. Felt like a John Candy great outdoors adventure.
