Good Golly Tamale - Knoxville

Quick food. Not fast food . The quality of this place is off the charts. The tamales are full of flavor and the sides (pickle cabbage, oh my goodness) are incredible. The tamale is the size of a burrito and stuffed with fresh flavorful ingredients. The only issue, they close at 6. This just makes you appreciate when you get there. Enjoy!

I will quickly say that the food is delicious. Tamales are quite authentic in flavor and texture and the beans and rice are delicious. Tried three of the veg tamales and we were very happy.That being said, the service is AWESOME. Katy was super helpful and kind from the get go. Got me a cpl extra bowls and spoons for my kids to be able to eat on the road. Mind you it has been raining since we got here and my kids were waiting in the car. As I'm in the car preparing food for everyone to eat as I drive the weather picks up and I get a severe weather alert for 80 mile an hour winds. I look up and out off the windshield and the wind and rain was so crazy I could barely see 10-15 get on front of me. I did as the alert told me and took my kids into the building where Katy proceeded to bring us plates and some towels to dry up. A wonderful customer helped me calm down my kids by distracting them. Katy really was amazing and so helpful today. Any time I'm ever driving through Knoxville I will be stopping and having my tamale at Good Golly.

We love tamales! A friend found this place on tiktok and it did not disappoint at all! Shared all 5 flavors they had, and we downed them all. Both red and green salsas were amazing as well. Great chill atmosphere and service too!

The tamale was wonderful and the sides were excellent and huge.
