Texas Roadhouse - Knoxville

I tried the ribs and the appetizers combo plate. The potato skins, fried pickles and boneless chicken wings were good. The warm bread basket was awesome. Not impressed by the ribs. They are advertised as “falling off the bone” and they sure were. But they had no texture or bite at all, need little firmness. Smothered in bbq sauce i could not get much if the actual meat flavor other than taste of liquid smoke. The steak potatoes looked like have been sitting under the warmer for a while. The service was excellent, the young waitress was very friendly and checked on the table often. I wish i did not see an employee cleaning the tables using the same rag and spray he was using to wipe the tables with to clean the neck of the steak sauce bottle and ketchup on the table. I know minor stuff but could not give 5 star

Adan was our server and he did an awesome job. The fried pickles were delicious and my prime rib was so good I for got to take a picture until I was done.?

We go to this restaurant a lot as locals, we've really enjoyed it over the years, tonight we waited a hour for a table which is totally understandable it's Saturday night in Knoxville. Our service was the worst we've ever had. I won't take my family back to this location. Our waitress think her name was jess had a bad attitude. We got two refills within two hours of our visit. The waitress acted as if she was only serving us because she had too. I know it's hard to find people to work, but I'm not fan of bad service. The waiters and waitresses are the face of a restaurant. We had better service at gas stations. Next time we'll drive 20 miles the other way, food was terrific I give it five stars all the way. Just did not care for bad service it wasn't even worth 1 star.

This is the first time my mother and I have been to this location, and since I had an appointment at the hospital there, we decided to try it. We usually go to the Kingston Pike location, and we've always enjoyed it. Today's visit didn't disappoint! Sometimes quality differs between locations (Cracker Barrel and Red Lobster are two I can think of right off the top of my head) but not here! Everything was wonderful. I love the fresh rolls (and they were FRESH), best side salads in town, and the entrees... Just all around fantastic, and we will certainly be having lunch at this location too!
