Very nice, tasty, cosy place with tasty good quality food and drinks! Very good owner ! 1st of January me and my friends was looking for some hot wine, only here we could find it. Owner agreed to prepare it just for us. 5 star service!
During our trip was walking around at night 1st of January. Only here we could get a warm wine, also a great food available. Likely to visit more.
I went there with my friends and family. It’s a very nice and cozy restaurant in the heart of NV. We ordered the pizzas and lasagne and both were very delicious! Especially the pizzas! The best pizza i have had in Copenhagen. The service is also great! It’s also very affordable considering the quality of the food. Will go there again!
Miklagård Pizza Pasta had a 50% offer on for their opening, so I thought I would take advantage in order to check out the latest addition to NV’s eateries and get a pizza. I was met by an overzealous manager. I thought ‘fine, I understand. You just opened and you’re excited’ but he was coming off a bit too strong. I ordered the ‘Viking’ which is plum toms, a specialty Danish cheese with slow-cooked beef and some other posh garnish. We established that I am having it takeaway. The manager then said ‘can I get you something to drink while you wait?’ I decline...because It was a takeaway, and it did not sound like it would have been a complimentary drink. It makes no sense. What if I was still having the drink while my food arrived, which I was taking away? I let it slide but I began to regret coming in here. Hard sell tactics always make me suspicious of the quality. My suspicion did not disappoint but the quality did. First of all, I was told that it would be 10-15 min, which is standard pizza waiting time. My order arrived after 7-8. I am about to comment but decided to go with it. Maybe my order got moved up because it was a single order and they were already making one. The pizza: the base was like the sole of a shoe. Overall it seemed like a very wet pizza due to the ingredients. There was hardly any savoury flavour to it; just sweet and creamy. The slow-cooked beef should have been its saving grace. It was not. Some bits were still on the bone, but perhaps that was an intended effect to underscore some misguided sense of vikingness. Even worse was the gristle I began to encounter which I had to spit out. Pizza toppings should be readily edible. To top it all off, the pizza was dotted with drops of a rich garlic cream which just ended up lining the inside of my mouth so much so that I was still tasting it the next day.
