Heller's Brauhaus - Köln

Heller's opens at 5 so is not good for lunch. Their biers are excellent and the service is prompt and friendly. The food is good. This is another great neighborhood hangout.

Friendly staff, large beer hall . Different own brewed beers. Good food menu. Outside the main bar area so doesn't feel so touristy

When I go back to Cologne, I will be visiting here again. Wholly satisfying, incredibly tasty meals at a good price. The diet starts on Monday....

We were walking around looking for a place to get some Kolsch & Schnitzel. We stumbled upon Heller's and we had a blast with Karston & Danny. We ate some delicious pork roast, schnitzel and sauerkraut along trying several impressive beers they had to offer. This is a must for anyone looking fora great sense of humor and authentic German beer & food.

The Koelsch is good, but they also do a good Altbier and a pretty decent Weissbier. Really good setting in the best part of Cologne for bar-hopping, and feels more like a neighbourhood bar than the bigger and older brew houses in the Dom area.
