Latio - Köln

We went here for lunch during the week one day because we had been caught out with no trams running along the Ring. The choice of dishes is extensive and the service is efficient and polite. The quality of the food, however, is nothing to write home about. I had a large salad, which is normally great in Italian restaurants in this city but this one arrived with no dressing and covered in corn. The lettuce was uninspired bits of tasteless iceberg. The boiled egg slightly on the blue side, i.e. overcooked. On the plus side, the bread that arrived with the salad was very tasty, made, presumably, from pizza dough. There was no butter but some olive oil on the next table complemented it nicely. My daughter ordered a Margherita Pizza which was fine. We have been to many Italian restaurants in Cologne and most of them better than this one.

We visited Latio during a trip to Cologne and we had a cracking dinner! The staff were friendly and very hospitable, describing the dishes perfectly to us. Food was gorgeous and moderately priced. We’d visit again if we ever came to the area

I have already ordered a few paintings at latio and the products are always good, very tasty and delivered quickly. I can also recommend a visit to all southern cities in the restaurant. more expensive than in order!
