From Gimbacher Hof we are to Altenhain Zum Grünen Baum, which was taken over by a new host in 2020. I still knew Friedel Meyer the old host and we were pleasantly surprised by the garden, the girls in the service and the floor kitchen that is offered here. All were completely satisfied and the hand cheese at the end was very good. The young host is exactly the right successor for Friedel. We're happy to come back. The green tree in Altenhain is a secret tip for good and groundy food. Everything is freshly prepared. The service personnel are all extremely friendly. The garden is beautifully landscaped and the chestnut trees donate shade. We are regular guests!!
