Lambrusco's Italian Dining - Kolad

Lovely authentic Italian food, well prepared and served. Friendly attentive owners , knowledgeable staff as always a pleasure to visit. Husband had stuffed chicken with feta and spinach, was delicious, could not have made it better myself. I had grilled calamari tubes in lemon butter with rice, that was the fluffiest tastiest well cooked rice I have ever had in a restaurant. Friends had veal in a creamy mushroom sauce with carrot and beans, that he commented was so fresh and crispy, nothing worse than overcooked mushy veggies. Another star for that one, his wife has the special on offer, Kingklip cooked in the pizza oven. It was Succulent and tasty and well presented on the plate too.with roti and vegetables. The Ralph special ice-cream cake was a taste sensation, my husband opted for plain ice-cream with chocolate sauce. Our friends had ice-cream with cherries and toffee sauce. Well priced and obviously a popular place as per usual every table was full by 7.30. What better way to start a weekend.

I am hesitant to write this review as I would love to keep this gem a secret. The best local Italian restaurant for miles. Owner Raffaele will take the time to ensure that you will be back again and again. Friendly staff, good food and a homely atmosphere. <br/

The most sublime Caprese Salad, veal dishes, Cassata! Can't wait for our next visit!
