Little Fish Coffee - KOLOA

My husband and I visited the Poipu area for a week in January. Little Fish was our favorite place. We came here for breakfast every day and I miss it. There's always a line, but I promise it's worth waiting. Besides, there are sweet chickens to keep you entertained (pls do not feed them tho). My husband got the clubzilla on a bagel (high recommendation) and I turned between different acai bowls and sandwiches. My favorite is her Sunrise Bowl! Your breakfast sandwich, smoothies and coffee are also delicious.

Get here by 7:30am to avoid a line (although it moves fast and/or get a seat if you're staying. Order at the counter and food comes out when ready but in less than 5 minutes. Decent coffee choices, homemade/weird pastries (pear ginger chocolate chip scone?! and Little Fish fruit and yogurt bowl are all good. There's a Starbucks 5 minutes walk down the road but Little Fish is doing just FINE.

Location, location, location! This place is directly across the street from Kiahuna Plantation, and directly below the Poipu Athletic Club! It 's really crowded at 0700 when it opens, and until around 10, so get here at 7, or expect a 30 min wait in line. It 's soooo worth it though! Or, just order on line for pick up and you 'll be very glad ya did cuz that line is long! This little ole shack from Kauai is just the best to start your day. Look at that menu would ya?! We love the attitude of the staff and it was awesome to share some laughter with them! We are here twice a day during our stays here, it 's that good! Enjoy their picnic tables and the rooster 's...because there are plenty of both! Aloha

The restaurant was close to our hotel and was our favorite place for breakfast. It never took us long to wait since we were either the first or second person in line. The food was delicious. I tried the Sunrise Acai bowl, and my boyfriend ate the Pakala bowl. We also shared a Mexican chocolate and a Hazelnut latte. We tried to order the Golden Latte twice, but it was out of stock each time. So if you can order it then you're in luck.

This popular local coffee café serves great food and drinks. You can tell it’s a good spot when there’s a line! It has a casual vibe, no frills, but the quality is excellent, and it’s a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage at one of their picnic tables. We’re really glad we decided to stop by!
