Kippers - Kristianstad

A very cozy restaurant perfect for fine dining in the middle of central Kristianstad. Our family usually goes here when we want to celebrate special occasions as it is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in town. However, it is on the more expensive side, but for special occasions it is perfect. Vegetarian options: Tempeh an Indonesian delicacy (fermented yellow and gray peas) is served with carrot puree, lentil vinaigrette and a dark and mushy cloud sauce. Dietary restrictions: Vegan is available, the staff are very nice and were able to resolve my requests to remove nuts from a dessert. Kid-friendliness: This is in an exclusive and quieter environment, which means that the place is not ideal for children

Sitting here every weekend but never figured out who the hell is the kipper

It was a really cozy atmosphere in the inner yard, it feels like you are sitting in a alley in Spain. The service was excellent and they have a wide variety of food and drinks available. Something to suit everybody's taste. You can either share tapas or go for something on their amazing main dishes. We went for the pepper steak, moules frites and the big shrimp sandwich. All were very excellent! Very friendly and attentive service as well. Definitely a place to spend a summer evening!!
