Φοῦρνος Ὀρφανουδάκης

I was truly amazed by the generosity and kindness of the owner. Before buying he gave us so many biscuits to taste. After purchasing a couple of boxes he poured all of the samples into our bag and wished us best of luck on our trip. They make delicious fresh bread I recommend to try the village bread horiatiko psomi. If you are visiting them during the winter months try melomakarona and kourabiedes biscuits, they were fresh, crumbly and absolutely delicious.

Great vibe, owner is very welcoming, coffee is served with the localy baked cookies which are very delicious, there is also wifi available, highly recommend to stop by when in the area:

After a long travel on car, we noticed this bakery. Best stop so far in all Crete!!! Sfakia pie was amazing a perfect. The owner is really nice and let you try biscuits and breadsticks

We stopped here for the breakfast and didn't regret it. Very good price, and super delicious- especially sfakia pie with local honey, and signature biscuits (we got generous portion of them with our breakfast extra). Owner is very kind and hospitable.

This place is a GEM, owner of the bakery is a wonderful and friendly person visibly passionate about his craft. Greek coffee is served with a plate of various pastries every with it's unique taste and the view is panorama of Lefka Ori.
