I ordered my food through FB and I like that they responded me within minutes. Everything went on smoothly and I got my food immediately upon pick-up. The portion is huge and the food does live up to its excellent reputation. Even the Kolo mee taste is different. The mixed pork soup Kolo mee is definitely worth trying!
It's definitely worth the wait. I waited for at least 30mins just to try it. Love love love the noodles. Just the right consistency. The portion were big for me. I've ordered the famous mee pok and the mixed pork soup (normal) and a drink. The total bill is only Rm15.50. Definitely will come back again. P/s this is how you order your noodles When you got a seating already, just wait until the lady serve u the saucer with chili and soy sauce. She's then ask what you wanna eat. If she didnt ask, just wait. If u want a drink, then there's another lady at the back kitchen area who walks around, you can signal her that you wanted a drink. Easy peasy!
My wife and I loved the authentic vibe of this place while we waited to be served. This quaint restaurant made us feel like part of the little local community all waiting to enjoy the delicious noodles. The noodles had a great texture and the broth was delicious. Overall, we waited about an hour (in line and then waiting at the table), but we enjoyed slowing down and soaking in the experience while waiting for our food it didn't bother us.
It took a while to find this place. I don't think this place has kolo mee but more geared towards kampua instead. The noodles were springy with the right level of bite. Pork broth was flavourful and chocked full of goodies such as pork liver, pork mince, fish ball, fried shallots, pickled vegs, seaweed, sliced fish cakes. I did not taste much MSG in both dishes as I wasn't thirsty afterwards. Hot lemon tea was good too but I wish they'd use fresh tea bags instead of tea powder. Overall, good luck
