Suganoya Ginza Street Store - Kumamoto

Horse meat is great and staff is nice and friendly, they introduce every dish they serving by their not-so-well english. But smoking is allowed in this restaurant so not recommend for non smoker.

SUGANOYA offers horse cuisine which they make certain you understand before seating you. This is a nice gesture on their part as I can see being a clueless tourist and not knowing what you are getting into. The food is beautifully presented and carefully prepared. Raw horse is not for everyone but I recommend giving it a try.

There was a nigiri lunch course. The interior was very clean, there were many small private rooms, and it was a calm atmosphere. All courses were colorful and tasty. I was born and raised in Kumamoto, but I was very imp ed with the most delicious horse meat sashimi in my life. (I was imp、ed by my mother) Also, the timing of the brought food was very good and I felt the care of the staff. I want to go again.

It is a famous shop that is not known for horse meat lovers. It is located in Kumamoto city. Bashi is really fresh and does not know anywhere in Japan that offers more fresh bashi. All horse sashimi, horse sashimi, hoo, cherry natto, and temari sushi are outstanding. Although the price is high, the staff is trained well and can be eaten comfortably.

First time trying horse meat and it was delicious. Some cuts of the sashimi was rather chewy compared to the others but they were all tasty. The shabu shabu was good too.
