Warung Artis Kuah Asam Tenau - Kupang

Finally got a chance to try the famous Ikan Kuah Asam (sour fish soup) at this place. I heard that this place is always too crowded at lunch time, so i always think twice to ride far in the day to get this food. But OMG, today i got to eat there and I love the Ikan kuah asam so much. You can taste the freshness of the fish and the tasty soup. I ordered the fish head and got a big bowl of the soup. And their sambal was also yummy! It was pretty empty when i went there today.

I tried the top notch on the menu the kuah asam fish and fried fish also nasi campur. the taste was so good. I think i can have the fried and kuah asam for breakfast.. highly recommended.

The fish is so fresh! They sell fish soup, fried fish, and sweet beef. The restaurant is extremely full during lunch time. It's quite far from Kupang city centre though, around 10 km. We spent 200k for 4 people. Quite expensive for this level of restaurant. However, give it a go when you are in Kupang.

This my 2nd time here. The fish is fresh. Also tomatoes and basil leaves. The sauce is tasty but less sour. Maybe they need to put extra lemon slices on the table. The place is clean. And quick service. But over all is great. Recommended resto for hungry tummy

A must try if you are fish lovers. Fish soup and fried fish, all fresh.
