Írjon visszajelzéstWe were running out of time, before heading to Sky Rail. It was 1400 hours and most of everywhere was shutting shop. So it was a pie on the run. The choice was exceedingly limited, I had a curry pie, he had steak and kidney. Lots of meat, nice gravy, very little curry flavour. Very limited soft drink choice. Tables outside were OK. 24 hours after this meal, my man was very sick with vomiting and diarrhoea. Coincidence? I was OK.
Reading the other reviews and from my own experience it appears that a pie at Annabel's is a safe bet. I had a potato and mushroom pie. I am pretty picky with pies and this definitely passed the test. My daughter had a sausage roll and she liked it. I think I also had a smoothie, and by memory it was delicious. (I have had a lot of smoothies these holidays!) The two front of counter staff also had good customer service.
Not a good coffee as it was weak and not appealing. Did not try anything else so cannot comment on the food but nothing special on offer
Stopped in for some lunch during a day trip to Kuranda. I had the kangaroo pie which was rich and hearty, there was so much meat packed into the crispy pastry. I did find the meat a bit rich and need tomato sauce to balance it out. I washed it down with a vanilla milkshake and was left very satisfied.
Cash only. They have lots of different meat pies and all of them are delicious. You order from the sidewalk and they are very friendly. Then sit at a sidewalk table or go for a walk.
