Cafe Mandala Kuranda

Very nice café at the end of Coondoo Street in Kuranda . There is a nice feel to this place. Staff super friendly. The cakes looked very fresh . I had the lemon and almond cake with a dollop of cream. Yummy. And they used fresh cream . Not many cafés use fresh cream anymore Coffee was great. Plenty of seating outside. Atmosphere is very pleasant.

We rocked up to town around 8am and everything was closed and peaceful. Spoke to a local lady that said most things dont open till 10am We were lucky to find this place open and it was really nice. Great service, great coffee and the food was fantastic.

Hot day so we just stopped for an iced coffee. Perfect! Most were enjoying their breakfast of early lunch when we were there. We were entertained by some local musos. Great atmosphere.

They open nice and early. Great breakfast food. The staff have good humour and are very efficient. We will be back.
