This cafe is refreshingly not just a tourist trap, which is quite rare in Kuranda. Be sure to place your order first, then feel free to explore! Although the food did take over 40 minutes to arrive, the staff was very transparent about the wait time from the start. They encouraged us to check out the nearby market and shops while we waited. The cafe offers a variety of gluten-free cakes (not just friands!), some of which are sourced locally. The highlight was definitely the gluten-free crepes—they were absolutely worth the wait and are prepared with low cross-contamination, which is a big plus!

The menu at this restaurant is quite impressive, with sandwiches and crepes being standout options. Their juices are also noteworthy. Located in Kuranda, this spot offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for dining. The daily specials are both delicious and well-priced. However, the space is quite small, featuring only outdoor seating, which is acceptable given the beautiful weather we often enjoy.
