Del Lusso Pizza - La Costa

Walter, the owner, came over to great us. Extremely awesome people, atmosphere, and food. Everything is made from scratch and tastes amazing. We had the Margarita and the L’Americano. Highly recommended!

Tonight the online order was a disappointment. Pizza was ready in ten minutes. ?‍. The pizza was lukewarm and the crust was gummy/not cooked enough. Pancetta pizza was missing the pancetta. What happened tonight? Usually not a disappointment.

Definitely one of our favorite pizzas in North County. Great crust and perfect ratio of ingredients make for a well balanced pie. Atmosphere is fun and seating comfy. Service is great and owners go out of their way to engage, get to know you and ensure you are delighted with the food. I’ve been a few times now and have always left happy.

Went on a quick lunch date. Split the hot Italian sandwich w/ side salad with the wife. The salad was light and tasty. The sandwich was yummy and the bread was so good. Our server Ashley was fantastic and even brought us out a couple cucumbers for our baby to snack on.Kid-friendliness: We brought our baby and there were other kids sitting around.

Pizzas are small, mediocre, and quite overpriced, as is everything else. Not enough sauce, toppings are sparse, crust is...meh. The chopped salad was the highlight of the meal. And, this place looks more like it belongs in a mall. It does not have true restaurant ambience. We were disappointed considering what we spent. And yes....the music is extremely annoying. Not recommended.
