Interim Coffee - La Costa

Excellent Decaf Americano. Definitely the best I've had while visiting San Diego.Chill atmosphere, and personable service.Note: I noticed on the way out that there was a pathway from the main drag. Just look for the metal gate this makes the shop much easier to access, if you're not coming up from the beach :

We had coffee from a few places in Carlsbad and this was by far the best!! Definitely go here if you’re reading this review!! : I got a vanilla and hazelnut iced latte, it was amazing! The syrups are homemade and delicious!

Low key lo-fi spot. Super quiet and relaxing patio to have a coffee on.

Ray and co. have created lil spot that is unique to its environment. In the hustle and bustle of SoCal to find an actual hole in the wall is rare. The coffee is really good. The technique is consistent and proper. It fits the space perfectly. He obviously wants to be out surfing, but that doesn’t come across as resent. That energy is funneled into as cool, calm, collected and balanced of a cup as you’ll have out there. Thanks for giving me the desire to be a regular and for being such a good representative of the industry.

AMAZING coffee. Expertly well made espresso drinks and they even have fun homemade syrups to choose from like cinnamon and ginger fig. The selection of old cameras and Knick knacks make this a unique coffee shop that you should not miss.
