Blue Ocean Sushi - La Jolla

The food was delicious, and the entire experience was fantastic! The view of the ocean was spectacular. For vegetarians, there are plenty of meal options available, and those with dietary restrictions will also find many choices, including gluten-free noodles.

As for parking, I visited on a holiday weekend for a late lunch, and it was quite challenging to find free street parking nearby. The pay lots charged $35 per day. Ultimately, I ended up parking about 5-6 blocks away in a free two-hour spot, but I had to drive around for about 20-30 minutes before I found an available space. On the plus side, my kids really enjoyed both the food and the location.

The food was excellent, but the place was very busy, so it's best to arrive early if you want a seat by the sea.

This place is hidden jem; service is excellent, ramen delicious and authentic, and prices are affordable. The wait might be long but worth it.

Went there for lunch and their lunch specials are very good! For $24 you can get 4 pieces of nigiri and a sushi roll. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. For $16 you get a bowl of ramen and a side. I got the fatty duck ramen which was very rich and savory.The side I got was recommended by a friend: vegetable pot stickers. Very unique and the best thing we ate there. They're a cool green color and have crunchy taro and microgreens on top. And that sauce is so good that we drank it from the bowl.
