Nautilus Tavern - La Jolla

Hidden gem! we arrived on a Saturday at 11 o'clock after the realization that several other local Brunch spots had to wait for an hour. we sat on the terrace outside, but completely in the shade that was beautiful as it was a sunny day. the waitress could not have been more beautiful and eating was great! recommend the breakfast burrito it was fantastic (I have it with bacon egg and cheese per our waiter recommended! when I asked if they had laughed, she said they had only coffee and cold brew, but the rosemont cafe next door and to feel free to get one and bring it back to the table. love, who support your neighbours! I got the latte and it was perfect! my son had the french toast plate that came with ice, so a bit sweet and savory that is always beautiful. he was full before he finished his French toast, so we all tried and it was delicious! since the lunch menu was also available, my daughter ordered the fish tacos and said they were great! this restaurant will definitely be on our “currence” list for when we in la jolla every year!

Great service but wish the menu had more healthy options.

Our server, Eve, was phenomenal! We dined there tonight with a party of 10 which included 4 kids. Eve was on top of everything! The food was yummy and came out fast. I highly recommend Nautilus based on variety of food options, yummy drinks and excellent service!

I use OpenTable to avoid places like this. There was no reservation needed and a sign to seat myself. It was a step up from a dive bar that served food. Don’t bother reserving a table on OpenTable and just walk in if you want to have dinner at a sports bar.

A great neighborhood bar with great drinks, excellent food (had the pub burger and daughter had fish tacos), and nice waitresses. The fish tacos were better than most places in town and that says a lot. We will be back.
