Wendy's - La Jolla

The food is great and the staff is friendly, but the presence of homeless individuals in and around the restaurant can be unsettling. Not everyone appears to be in a coherent state of mind.

We ate here we liked the good food. The workers did help us but kept saying wait a minute so we waited then got they took our order and got our food in good timing. Bathroom was fine.

The staff at the counter were very friendly, but the food was pretty much what you'd expect from a typical fast food breakfast. I needed a meal while on a long drive, and this served its purpose. I'm not certain it's any better than other fast food options, but it was decent enough.

I've visited this place a few times, and it's consistently disappointing. I hadn’t felt compelled to write a review until recently when I dropped off a U-Haul next door and waited outside for my Uber. While I was waiting, a homeless man walked into Wendy's and quickly came back out, remarking, "This place is disgusting. I'm going to McDonald's." I couldn't provide a more spot-on review than that.

I've always gone at lunchtime, through the drive thru, and always had fresh food and great service. They've always been very friendly
