Delicias Tamal House - La Junta

Driving through La Junta and saw the reviews. Stopped in and really enjoyed the truly authentic Mexican food.

We had the rellano burrito. AWESOME!!! Great spice and well put together. Nice kid serving customers.

We had a lovely dinner with 3 different main courses and each were well prepared and very tasty. We also had Margaritas which were quite sweet I thought they should be tart!

I would move to La Junta for this food. It was authentic and hands down the best smothered burrito and shredded beef tacos we have ever had. Chef Mario was very kind and went above and beyond with service.

The quesabirria tacos (beef, not goat) are so flavorful and filling. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach when I ordered 3 of them. I loved the salsa especially because it’s homemade and fresh!
