Antica Trattoria - La Mesa

I lived just down the street from the shopping area at Lake Murray Blvd and Baltimore for most of my life, yet I only tried Antica Trattoria when I was around 18. I was craving Italian food, and my dad, being a seasoned traveler, felt that Olive Garden couldn't compare to what he'd experienced in Italy. So, we decided to give Antica Trattoria a shot, and we were thrilled with our choice—it's now the only Italian place we go to. The food is flavorful without being overly rich, and the atmosphere is small and cozy. The staff is incredibly welcoming, too. Since moving to Texas, I've made it a point to visit Antica every time I'm back in town. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best Italian food in the city!
