Mcdonald's - La Mesa

I'm not sure what happened two nights in a row. I went to the McDonald's on 2nd Street in El Cajon to get a strawberry shake for my daughter, but they told me the shake machine was broken. So, the next night, I went out of my way to another McDonald's on Fletcher Parkway Road to get a strawberry shake, but they also said their shake machine was down. It seems like the manager may be unaware of the issue or perhaps the employees are hesitant to use the shake machine for some reason. McDonald's may need to invest in better shake machines for all their locations in San Diego.

The service at this restaurant is awful. They messed up my order, so be sure to double check before leaving to ensure it's correct. A young male cashier incorrectly took my order in the morning.

My 6-year-old wanted McDonald's, so we ended up getting a happy meal with a chocolate milkburger. I usually don't care for the toy that comes with the meal, but this time they had a Thor movie theme so I didn't mind. When we paid at the drive-thru and received our happy meal at the second window, my McDouble and fries were not ready with it. They eventually brought them out together and apologized. I wasn't impressed with the way the fries were thrown into the bag, unlike the neat packaging of the burger. I used to like this place because of the indoor playground, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, it's not as enjoyable for my child or any other kids. I also didn't like having to navigate through a crowded parking lot shared by Costco and other businesses to enter or exit the restaurant. Despite these inconveniences, I decided to go through with it as the place I needed to reach was nearby.

The food was good, but my son ordered extra burgerpatties on his burgers, but when we came home, we discovered that, although we paid for them, they were not there!

I went inside because the drive through was so long. Short wait time but whoever packages the food threw all my food in the bag fries weren't even in the box and burgers were halfed wrapped. I dont really care Stilll ate but they could improve for sure
