El Mexicano - La Place

My husband and I come here almost every week. It is our favorite place and the owners are usually the ones who take care of us. They are so nice and the food has always been amazing.

Great food. The fajuita buritto is really good and also the quesodilla with peppers and onions. I always order one of these two things and it is says delicious.

We have been going here for years. The food is authentic an home cooked, unlike the other Mexican restaurant in Laplace. Everything here is very good down to the kids burger. If they were only located in a better shopping center, they would make a fortune. We eat Mexican all the time, and this is the only restaurant in several cities and states we have eaten that had authentic Mexican food with consistent taste and service.
