Shack Du Pêcheur - La Prairie

The food was excellent, the service friendly and efficient. The decor had an east coast vibe. Reminded me of our vacations on the Eastern seaboard. My lobster Mac n Cheese was amazing. Creamy and delicious. The guys are fish n chips and enjoyed every bite. Portions were generous. We were so full we had to pass on dessert. This was our first visit but it will not be our last.

A friend of mine recommended that we try out this place and so finally we got a chance to go there for lunch. The place has a small bar and a few seating sections and is appropriately decorated. We decided to share an order of 1/2 lb of sauteed shrimp with cajun seasoning as well as a full plate of cod fish and chips along with a pitcher of draft beer. The food was great, the service attentive and the prices reasonable. We look forward to a return visit to try out their daily specials as well as some other items on the menu. This might possibly take more than one return visit.....

This restaurant is small in size but big on what counts. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent service and generous portions. Some in our goup had London fish and chips and some had the lobster roll. Both were delicious along with their scrumptious french fries. We will go back again.

What a find..nice atmosphere...food excellent and generous. We had fish and chips london version and not oily or overbattered. 3 other types of fish and chips. Saw a share seafood platter which is huge but people enjoyed it...next time

Reasonably priced seating is rather cramped but good food, good service, pleasant staff worth the visit.
