Ryus Avenue Bakery - LA VETA

What an amazing bakery! It's my favorite spot. I really hope it opens again soon!

Overall, the food is excellent, with a few items standing out as the best I’ve ever tasted. The bear claws are the finest version of this pastry I’ve ever had, and the tomato soup is absolutely fantastic. The Ryus Ave Special sandwich is also amazing, and all of the pies are delicious. The staff is wonderful, the food is top-notch, and the policies are commendable. I love this place!

We truly love our town, and it's fantastic to have a special spot that brings the community together. We visit Ed and Antonio at Ryus Ave Bakery three times a week, and we enjoy the most delicious sandwiches, soups, breads, and sweets. Their food outshines all the places we've been to in Manhattan, plus we get to catch up with our friends from the neighborhood!

A friend and I stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The owner was extremely friendly and kind and was willing to think a bit outside the box to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I did not request a sriracha mayo sauce, but it was includedon the side and am I glad it was! Super tasty. And the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend stopping in.
