Casa Portugaise - Lachine

The restaurant is cozy and charming. I really enjoyed my time there; the food was delicious. I definitely want to return to try the Bifanas!

I really enjoyed the chicken and ribs. I recommend ordering a large portion and asking for a doggy bag to take leftovers home. I started with the calamari, but it's not my favorite version. The crab cakes, however, were much better. The sardines were tasty, and I would definitely order them again after my guest. They have a selection of Portuguese wines (about 5 or 6 options) listed on a blackboard. We ordered two bottles for four people, and the wine prices were reasonable for a restaurant. Overall, it's a quality meal, and the staff are friendly and casual, though not overly formal. The egg cake for dessert was a fantastic way to end the meal. I had a wonderful evening and will definitely return.

The soup, octopus, and dessert were all excellent. However, the main dish was tougher than I anticipated (I ordered it medium rare), and the chicken was too dry. I'm unsure if I would return.

Cool restaurant, right by the water. Very delicious food, not something you can get anywhere. The combination plate is particularly good. Good service. Go back.

I liked sangria, seafood and dessert, my husband had beef with homemade potato chips and it was average, a chiken we ordered for our kid was burnt. But we are not coming back to this because of the service, it was very unpleasant experience.
