Írjon visszajelzéstI took some friends from Florida out for lunch, and I have to say I was disappointed. The Jumbo Hummerrolle ($25.99) was hardly jumbo at all—how much can you really fit in a tiny hot dog roll? The clam roll ($14.99) also came in a small hot dog roll and only had five little clam shells in it. The order of onion rings ($7.29) was small and the batter was overcrowded—not the crispy style we expected. On top of that, filling water cost $1.99 each. It seems the restaurant makes a significant profit during the summer with all the cyclists and visitors, which is probably why it closes in the winter.
I took some friends from Florida out for lunch, and I was disappointed with the portions. The Jumbo Hummer Roll ($25.99) wasn’t really jumbo at all—how much can you really fit in a small hot dog roll? The Clam Roll ($14.99) was similarly underwhelming; it contained just five clam shells in another tiny roll. The order of onion rings ($7.29) was small and the batter was overcrowded, not the crispy crushed style we were hoping for. Also, the filled water cost $1.99 each. This place seems to make a lot of money from summer cyclists and visitors, which might explain why it doesn't stay open during the winter months.
The best lobster rolls and fried mussels I've had outside of Maine!
I took some friends from Florida out to lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the jumbo lobster roll for $25.99, but it was far from jumbo. After all, how much can you really fit into a small hot dog bun? The clam roll, priced at $14.99, was served in a similarly small bun and had just five tiny clams in it. The order of onion rings for $7.29 was also disappointing; it was a small portion of overcooked, crumbly rings that weren’t even batter-dipped like we had hoped. To top it off, bottled water cost $1.99 each. It seems like the place makes a lot of money during the summer by taking advantage of tourists and visitors, which is likely why it doesn’t remain open in the winter.
