Texas Roadhouse - Lady Lake

This was our 1st visit to the Lady Lake restaurant, we will not be back. We both ordered hamburgers. One well done, one medium. After a rather long wait, they came. Looked very fat and yummy. Doctored our burgers, cut them in half so we could start to enjoy our meal. One burger was RARE, the other VERY RARE. Sent the very rare one back for a well done burger. Received back the very same cut in half burger, much thinner this time. But by the time the burger came back, the french fries were cold. The manager visited our table just after we ordered, would have been nice to see him on the floor after our meal came, but he was not to be seen. Would be nice if someone suggested to the cooks to “read” the orders. These were the worst burgers we have ever received at any Roadhouse Restaurant we have been to, which has been many.

I was so disappointed eating in The Villages that I decided to try this Texas Roadhouse which was a short drive from the hotel. I've eaten at Texas Roadhouse before (just not this one) and knew that I could get something better than I had in The Villages. Everything about my dinner was fabulous!! The beer was cold, the salmon was cooked perfectly, andthe mashed potatoes and rolls were hot. And Trina (short for Katrina) was absolutely the best server anyone could have had. She was fun and we had some nice conversations about Clearwater Beach. She is a keeper!! The next time I'm in The Villages, this Texas Roadhouse is on my list to return and I'll enjoy my seat at the bar again!! And, the managers were very visible and asked me about my meal and the service. It was nice to see them also engaged with the customers!

Cleanish Restaurant, food Delivered fast, great service. Steak house Their Road Kill dish looked and tasted good.

A party of 7 had to wait to be seated because one person hadn’t arrived. We asked to be seated to order apps and drinks and were told that’s not policy. If we wanted to order apps we could go to the bar.. one of our guests was in a wheelchair.. I saw booths open in the bar area and asked if we could sit there and told no, that it’s not open seating.. then once our last guest arrived they proceeded to seat us in the very booth I inquired about. I would understand if half our party hadn’t arrived but one person isn’t going to make a difference. ?

My wife and i went to the Lady Lake Florida location i order a 12 0z New York and my wife order a 12 0z ribeye . My salad i ask for onion did not get it and no tomato either , by the tim may waitress came back for me to tell her i had finish it my wife stake was tuff could no eat it . Sent her stake back when a new one came out it was RARE had to send it back again Had to get another waitress to find ours my 120z New York stake had about 4 0z of FAT. The manger stop by the table while we were eating salad. he asked how every thing was, he walks off POOR MANAGEMENT
