Dragon City - Ladysmith

The food here didn't make any effort to be appealing. The only worse meal I've had was at its sister restaurant in Nanaimo. I won't be coming back.

The service was excellent, but the food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was lacking.

It was my first timing dining in with my family and thought it would be modest food, but man that Peking Crispy Ginger Beef is the best I’ve ever had! Huge portions, great food, and great recommendations from our server who was very friendly. We will order from here for sure again, maybe take out to transfer beach or something.

We ordered a combo meal, and everything was excessively greasy. I began with an egg roll that was double-battered. My brother's chow mein had raw bean sprouts. As other reviews have mentioned, the almond chicken consisted mostly of batter with only a small portion of chicken. However, the service was good, which is why I gave it 2 stars.

I realized today while picking up my take out, (didn’t want to eat in again to avoid confrontation) that there is also a comparatively older (not old)strawberry blond manager. She seems nice and is not the one I had problems with.Food is great and fresh.
