Lagneaux's - Lafayette

Food was super fire. I drive truck and was able to stop in Lafayette to see a long time friend. Said I wanted some Cajun food and we went to Lagneauxs. It was dope. Highly recommend.

Great food and friendly service. My food came out cold but the waiter gave me a new hot plate and took it off my bill.

We visited twice within the last couple months and has been a long time since we were there last. Food was great, especially the boiled shrimp and crabs. Will definitely return soon.

Overall, the food was mediocre, but the shrimp pasta was great. All other items in the buffet line were lackluster. Admittedly, the last time I ate at Lagneaux's was 32 years ago. In its heyday, this seafood restaurant was awesome. Maybe it's unfair to compare my previous experience from so long ago and expect it to measure up with today's food quality norms. Understandably, it's a tough economy to run a seafood restaurant in our current time. Keep trying though, and maybe consider resurrecting some old recipes. Thank you.

Classic cajun food served in a vintage southern atmosphere. It's not fancy, but it's good and you will not leave hungry. Great variety of dishes on the buffet.
