Taco Rico - Lafayette

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was definitely a positive dining experience. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I can already tell that I will be returning here again soon.

The portion sizes were perfect and the flavors were delicious. I would definitely come back to eat here again. I believe I have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Dining at Taco Rico is fantastic. The portions are generous and I have never had a bad meal or encountered poor service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, so I will definitely continue to support them in the future.

I'm here for lunch. while I would say that eating in the regular is moderate to a bit higher, it comes quite fast and makes the job. I've always been easily deposed by the service. No one is there to welcome them while they are looking for an empty table to sit. the server that finally come by are not mean or rude at any wise, but they come as standoffish. at my last visit was the only table where two were connected. I sat down and I told my waiter that I felt bad sitting here alone. he seemed ambivalent whether I was sitting there or moving into the bar area. I did the latter so that someone else could have this big table. on the bar I ordered water from which my waiter seemed surprised. Maybe because I didn't order a paid drink. I'll give him my order for steak quadillas. eating quickly came out as my experiences, but it only behaved and not steak. I'm telling my waiter, but he insisted that I'm gonna say I'm here and don't almost fight with me. he takes it back, and the chefs in phase open each disc of quesadilla to place bits of steak between the tortilla dishes. I'll eat back, and I know how pathetic and small this was in portions. it took about 3 minutes to eat the whole thing. he probably gave me a child's meal, which more rings through the bill up to about $8 instead of $10.99 as it is listed on the website of the restaurant. I left disappointed and unsatisfied without “thanks” or “Goodbye”. because of these and earlier experiences in the subpar I will not come back here. if you want to eat here, 1) I suggest that they find another place for Mexican food, or 2) if they do, they get out call so they don't treat with the second price service. even only a small personality with their customers can show a long way away.

Food is good I can't complain. I love the taco combos and micheladas. Depending on the day maybe a shrimp tostada or a menudo. The food is not bad at all. We keep going there for a reason. What I would like to address is the customer service. My friends and family have been going there for years. We go there too often. It is a very centralized location. It really upsets me when you ask for something and right away the waitress catches an attitude. We obviously want to be treated kindly. Hospitality goes a long way. Maricela was great and I really miss her being there. She always had a smile for us and gave great customer service. I have not seen her or talked to her since she stopped working there. We just want to eat and have a good time with our friends and family. The goal is not to upset anyone. I hope the servers there read this and honestly if you don't want to walk to our table and give us good customer service pass the table to someone else. Or if we are too much to handle please allow us to pick up our own orders at the front counter.
