Tampico's - Lafayette

In line with every other Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in Louisiana. Basic flavors and nothing that stood out. The nachos were made with what seemed like Tostisto chips from a bag. Very tight with the guac on the nachos and sour cream. Service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly. While I has paid $20 (with tip) for an enchilada plate, or an order of nachos, the price should match the flavors. That wasn’t my experience at Tampico’s. Gave it a shot, but not ready to return any time soon.

I'm not big on most foods, but I love bean dip, chips and salsa. You have the best margaritas. It's the only place I go to the occasional drink. The bartender is such a nice guy. It is a very relaxed atmosphere.

We go every Friday night for karaoke. You will not find a better karaoke DJ than Ron Boutte and the waitstaff there are like our extended family. We love the service we get every time we go. Our drinks never get dry and we always have a great time

Best Mexican food in Louisiana hands down. Service is great and very friendly! Tristan Guillory is better at everything than his older brother Colby Guillory. Luckily Tristan works there and Colby doesn't. Also none of the servers can beat me at beer pong. Ever. The fajita renello and carne asada are also the two greatest meals I've ever had in my life.
