Food Shack - Lagos

After my experience here last night , I had to go through old reviews and it's very much sad that years later it's still the same complaint . I really looked forward to having a nice time with my family and friends at food shack , alas!! We were really disappointed. From a long wait time of over 2 hours to eventually mixing up our orders ,to having a very terrible customer service , then food which was said to be made fresh been extremely cold even the deep fries was served cold , to serving us spoilt shrimps , to water not been available in the toilet and finally having rude staff . Wow all this for a business . TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE TO BE. KINDLY AVOID FOOD SHACK BY ALL MEANS .

Food Shack is just one of my favorite go-to places. You can count on the food 95% of the time to be great. I visited for like the fourth time and it was even better. I ordered the shrimp combo tray with a side of plantain and I was pleased. The bread was soooo good, the crust and insides were just perfect, and I'm not the biggest bread fan. My Eko Royale cocktail was also nice, not too strong and did the job. The customer service was decent too. You have to look out for the building when on the street because it's easily overlooked. I'd recommend going as a group because the portions are friendly too.

Great food. Great Ambience. 10/10. Only problem is they can be a bit slow sometimes but its worth the wait

It was my first time and I Honestly didn’t expect the size of the space. I even asked my friend if that was it. Someone was having an event when we went but they still made sure other guests were attended to and not disturbed by what was going on. I love the space and liked how the kitchen was outside and not cramped inside. The food was nice and the waiters were really nice too.

The waiters were so polite , The food was so delicious like , I had this particular combo and it was no nice (chicken and chips I went with my brothers who were asking a lot of questions but there was this tall dark guy with cornrows on ; he was so patient , our card declined because of network and we made transfer and they were so polite … The only off thing was ; it was difficult to find the place on the street
