The mushroom tacos were excellent, and the staff was very friendly. There's a live band most evenings, which adds to the atmosphere. However, it can get quite loud if you're seeking a quiet spot to enjoy a meal or drink. Overall, the vibe is fantastic!

A few minutes later, there was only one other couple in the café, and they had already received their coffee when I approached the counter. To my surprise, I was served a large latte in an oversized cup. I took it back, confirmed that it was indeed a latte, and requested a macchiato again, reiterating my order. The barista, who was polite throughout the process, assured me she would fix it. A few minutes later, she brought me another latte, this time with some foam on top. I thought things were finally on track. However, when I tried a small piece of the cinnamon roll, I discovered it was stale—so hard it was as tough as the crust on an overcooked French roll. At that point, I decided not to return. If the owner is willing to serve stale pastries and doesn’t take the time to properly train the barista to make a simple macchiato, this simply isn’t the café for me. I give it one star instead of none, primarily because the barista was very pleasant.

I've been visiting this restaurant for several years, and there have been many changes since the new ownership took over. The best improvement has been our server, Ruffino. Despite the busy bar, he was incredibly attentive and friendly. It's clear he has a genuine passion for the service industry, and he made my friend and me feel very welcome. We can't wait to return and see him again!

Here's the WORST. I have been living in Laguna for 10 years, and this place has always reached a low point with its new property. They don't pay their employees and their sales rate shows it. I come here to feel the feeling of communion and amazing food. Not anymore. This is a place for a tourist crowd going support other amazing authentic Laguna local spots.

Seems new management have sucked the life out of the place. General store and coffee shop no longer exist. Not even open during advertised hours.
